Beeline launched a map service based on Google Maps
The VimpelCom company (Beeline trademark) announced a joint Google service, Google Maps, adapted specifically for mobile phones in the form of a java application.
With the help of the new service, Beeline subscribers will be able to travel, looking at the mobile phone for maps of the area and satellite images of objects, as well as find the necessary addresses and select driving directions. In the Google Maps java application, there is easy navigation, the image can be zoomed in, deleted and moved in any direction without reloading the page, and a traffic counter is displayed in the upper right corner.
The service can be used by users of all tariffs and locations, but the search for addresses can be made only in major Russian cities:
Moscow and Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Komsomolsk - on - Amur, Kostroma, Lipetsk, Livny and Mtsensk (Oryol Region), Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhny Novgorod, Orel, Perm, Ryazan, Saratov, Samara, Tambov, Tolyatti, Tula, Tver, Ulyanovsk.
