Skype for Windows Phone out of beta

As Microsoft promised, the release version of Skype 1.0.0.0 for Windows Phone 7.5 was released in April.

Among the seen:

• Added Russian and 13 more languages;
• There are search and add new contacts;
• Improved stability;
• Increased speed of loading messages and launching the program (this is really noticeable, Skype has ceased to be as slow as it used to be on iOS and Android).
• Added group video chats and conferences

Among the usual cons of Skype for the Windows Phone platform:

• Lack of support for background work. Skype just “hangs” in the background, not taking calls and messages.
