Intel has released a budget SSD-drives

Intel not only manufactures high-performance devices designed for wealthy customers, including large companies. Recently, Intel introduced a series of budget SSD-drives, which, although they are part of the 320 series, are highlighted in a separate series with the serial number 330. By the way, not so long ago new premium models from the 910 series were presented. The new SSD models of the 330th series have a relatively small capacity (maximum 180 GB) and a relatively low read / write speed.



In total, three new models were presented, including a model with a capacity of 60 GB, 120 GB and 180 GB. The cost of these drives - 89, 149 and 234 dollars, respectively. At the same time, according to representatives of Intel, a model with a capacity of 60 gigabytes is the most inexpensive in the existing market. It is worth noting that the older model of the 330th series, with a capacity of 600 GB, costs about $ 1,000.

Experts believe that the models presented can be successfully used to update the hardware base of many laptops, especially those models that were released in previous years. Yes, and ordinary desktop computers can be updated by installing these drives. The result is a solid performance boost. However, the cost of such an update is not so high.
