Talk about paxos?



On April 19, 2012 at 4:00 pm, the Center for Applied Research of Computer Networks with the support of the Information Technology Cluster of Skolkovo conducts the seminar “The Paxos Algorithm Family”.
Paxos is a family of protocols for solving the problem of consensus on a network of unreliable solvers. Consensus is the process of obtaining a consistent result by a group of participants, the main problem is the presence of interference in the data transmission medium. This task is used, for example, to validate transactions in distributed systems.
Students, young scientists are invited to participate in the event.
