IT specialists will be able to participate in open comparative testing of new and proven technologies, as well as learn about the pitfalls that may occur in the implementation process. Lectures of foreign speakers can be heard in the original - in English, or with simultaneous translation.
Among the speakers it is worth noting, in particular, Kris Buytaert, one of the founders of DevOps. Buytaert will talk about seven useful opensource-tools that should be in the arsenal of the system administrator, and in the second report he will share his experience in building solutions using the MySQL-HA and Linux-HA Pacemaker database cluster and will tell about the pros and cons of various database scaling schemes.
Garrett Honeycutt, expert at PuppetLabs, web development consultant Joshua Thijssen and Jan-Piet Mens, author of a large-scale work on alternative DNS servers, will also present their reports and lectures.
