A year ago, Pantech released the Vega Racer smartphone. It was a model with a dual-core processor, a fairly large display (4.3 inches), 1 GB of RAM and two cameras: a front one with 1.3 MP and a rear camera, with 8 MP. This smartphone has become very popular in the Asian region (a year more than a million devices were sold), and now the company releases its successor, Vega Racer 2.
This smartphone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (MSM8960) hardware platform with two cores with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. In addition, the novelty is installed graphics accelerator Adreno.

The highlight of the device will be a ceramic case (the company does not yet specify what kind of material the body is made of) and a large display with a diagonal of 4.8 inches. Also, the device will support wireless LTE. As the operating system, the developers chose Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It seems that smartphones with a large display are becoming increasingly popular - and as a result, manufacturers are starting to develop more and more models with a display of this size. But of course, there are smartphones with smaller displays, because not everyone is subject to gigantomania.
