Lecture content
The report is devoted to the review of new opportunities due to the growth of information flows. It shows how new cloud technologies make it possible to quickly analyze the changes taking place in the world around us and allow us to make quick and informed decisions. It will be about innovation competition and the transition of the most complex data processing technologies into the sphere of accessibility for medium and small businesses.
The report will highlight Microsoft technologies that allow you to transfer bulk computing to an accessible environment - the Cloud. An overview will be given and examples of the use of the new experimental product Microsoft -
Cloud Numerics will be given, allowing analysts who do not have special knowledge to develop programs that are scalable in the cloud, based on sophisticated computational algorithms. At the end of the report, a number of promising areas of information processing will be considered that can use the emerging capabilities of cloud platforms.

About speaker
Arshavsky Andrzej - head of the department of scientific and technical software in the Russian division of Microsoft.
He graduated from the Faculty of Cybernetics at the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPI) in 2000. He worked in CERN in Geneva on software development. Then he led the development of programs for the systems of unmanned passenger and freight trains. In 2006, he headed the department of storage systems development in the Russian laboratory of IBM. Since 2008, he has become a leading expert on innovation and technology of IBM in Russia. In 2010, he headed the department of scientific technical software in the Russian division of Microsoft.
