Miro player developers are asking for money for democracy

One of the most promising and technologically advanced projects in the field of Internet TV Miro (formerly Democracy Player) turned for help to all users. The creators of Miro explain how important their development is for humanity: “Large corporations spend millions of dollars trying to create a monopoly in the field of Internet video and restrict their users' access to video materials. They want to make all creators use their proprietary software and implement Digital Rights Management (DRM) to limit people's ability. ” The Miro player is the exact opposite, it supports free video playback in any format, a subscription to RSS video from Youtube and 1500 other sources (new channels are added every day), downloading files using the BitTorrent protocol.
