Updated supplement of the Ubuntu EducationPack educational software package to version 11.10

Ubuntu EducationPack is intended as an addition to the main distributions of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu versions 11.10, the main purpose of which is to provide the possibility of installation
educational software without access to the Internet. The disc contains both programs and all necessary dependent packages, and also includes all updates for Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu as of March 25, 2012.

Thus, it becomes possible to use Ubuntu Linux for educational purposes as an alternative, full-fledged solution that includes an operating system and a repository with all the software necessary for the educational process, even in the absence of the Internet.

The disc contains more than 110 applications that meet the requirements of programs of junior, secondary schools and high schools, and higher educational institutions, such as institutes and universities.

The undoubted advantage of this package is that the majority of software presented in this package is cross-platform, so the student will not be tied to one OS: he will be able to install the necessary software at home on a Windows PC, as well as with proper motivation and encouragement from teacher, the student will install Linux and will develop in this direction.
