If you want to start an open source project, but don’t know where to start,
Code52 will help you. At the beginning of the year several programmers (
Andrew Tobin ,
Brendan Forster and
Paul Jenkins ) decided to create a place for an easy start in the open source world.
Once a week one new idea is realized. Already in Code52
17 projects . Mostly used. NET platform, but the creators are not going to limit themselves. For example, the project
sayw.at , which started yesterday, will be written in NodeJS.
Project Goals
- help developers get started in the open-source world
- implement projects using various technologies
- enable the community to determine the direction of work
Why once a week?
- for short periods only achievable goals are determined
- short periods reduce the desire to "postpone for later"
- wide variety of projects
And what should I do about it?
You can put forward your idea or vote for one of the future projects on the
Uservoice site .
You can join one of the projects on
GitHub . Honestly speaking, you can do it without Code52;)
Discussions, ideas, suggestions can be posted on the
TenderApp siteThe project also has a
website ,
twitter , a
task manager and a discussion room in
JabbR.')
In general, the idea of the guys is very good. I myself plan to participate and advise you.
