MTS sues Twitter
As it became known, the Russian telecom operator MTS accuses Twitter of copyright infringement. The conflict broke out because of the company logo.
We remind you that in 2006, the Russian holding company Sistema conducted a rebranding of all its telecommunications subsidiaries. The new logo was the image of a white egg in a colored square.
As it turned out, the icons from Twitter are just as multicolored.

In the company MTS OJSC, this situation was perceived ambiguously. A spokeswoman for the operator, Irina Osadnaya, called such a coincidence of images a provocation and promised to sue soon:
“We have invested millions of dollars in this symbol. Finding such perfect forms that would symbolize wisdom and strength was incredibly difficult. We will not allow anyone to use our products. ”
Twitter representatives declined comment.
