Fastvps DNS server for DDOS

Dns server of the Fastvps company is under DDoS attack from approximately 17-00 MSK, because of this, a lot of good sites are. Those support can not clearly or that answer. The company's behavior is surprising, instead of promptly notifying its customers (so that they begin the transfer of their domains), they just posted the news in the control panel.

We regret to report a massive DDoS attack on our DNS servers ns3.fastvps.ru and ns4.fastvps.ru, which occurred today. According to our data, the attack power was about 200 Mbit / sec per DNS. This attack disabled the equipment in DC Hetzner (ns3) and DC EasySpeedy.com (ns4). At the moment, a number of measures have been taken to protect against attacks, the ns3 server is working, although it is still under attack with a capacity of about 30 Mbit / sec, ns4 is located in the blackhole of the backbone provider.

At the moment, two more backup DNS servers have been added - ns1.fastvps.ru and ns2.fastvps.ru. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to add them automatically for your domains and you need to do this manually in the panel of your Registrar, adding them to the ns3 and ns4 available there.

In addition, we can recommend the use of free DNS from Yandex: pdd.yandex.ru, but note that changing the DNS process is not very fast.

For our part, in connection with the incident, serious measures will be taken to protect the DNS from such situations. To be honest, we went to them for a long time, but we tightened it and it turned out so unpleasant.
