Rutube clips will be shown on television

Earlier this week, a joint project of ATV (Author's Television) and Rutube.ru started on the DTV channel. Spectators of the Extra program, which is released on weekdays at 20:30, have been asked to post their video stories on the website Rutube.ru, the best of which every day, according to the results of the rating selection, are broadcast. This is the first implementation of the TV 2.0 concept in Russia.

Rutube.ru here serves as an aggregator of user-generated video content, and in the future, partners plan to make live-air television broadcasts from different parts of the world. Including the planned organization of video feedback with the viewers. A little-known channel DTV can now claim to be the most innovative in Russia.

“Getting to the big screen for us is a systematic step in the development strategy,” says Mikhail Paulkin, co-founder of Rutube.ru. - We did not intend and are not going to lock in within the framework of the usual video hosting, but we strive to expand the coverage of human video needs as much as possible. To this end, we are ready to partner with all traditional players in this market: cinema, TV, mobile video, etc. ”

This is not the first online initiative of the ATV television company, which in 2003 launched the online TV project Politx.
