Lumix GF3 - Hack

In continuation of the previous topic broken GF2
Vitaly Kiselev added a new lumix GF3 announced last summer to his Ptools program.

The main advantage is video bitrate unlock, 30 min unlock. limit, unlock all languages, the inclusion of Progressive sweep. For example, my GF2 with 17mbps accelerates to 100mbps (which is cool for chroma key, right?), But I stopped at 33mbps.

Due to the fact that users of Canon MarkIII ($ 4000) are frustrating , despite the way the Lumix GH2 ($ 1000) camera practically makes MarkIII, the popularity of hacked firmware from Vitaly is increasing.

How to flash:

• Download the firmware from the site of Panasonic .
• We mark the necessary patches. Version increment should always be marked.
• Save the modified firmware. Change the last digit to what you want.
• Copy the firmware to the root of the SD card. We charge the battery
• Turn off the camera.
• Turn on the camera and then click on the green Play icon (do not hold).
• You will see the hourglass and the offer to be updated.
• Click the down arrow after selecting this menu item.
• We are waiting for the end of the update.
