As CNews learned, the HeadHunter portal has become the owner of the recruitment resource for freelancers Free-lance.ru.According to experts, the amount of the transaction could be up to $ 200 thousand. Market participants believe that the purchased resource played a significant role in its Runet sector, but the purchase will not noticeably change the balance of power.
HeadHunter has acquired the portal Free-lance.ru - a resource designed to search for freelancers. This was reported to CNews by a source in Free-lance.ru. According to him, the portal was bought out completely. The source of the transaction was difficult to name. In HeadHunter, CNews did not confirm, but did not refute the deal, however, they noted that the recruiting market in RuNet is developing and the company’s interest in acquiring players exists.
Attendance at Free-lance.ru, according to Finam, is quite low at around 1,000 people per day. But for HH, not so much the portal is interesting as the freelancers base, according to Finam. “Currently, the database contains about 16 thousand people, and even if it is active by at least a third, this is already a very valuable asset that will help HH expand its proposals for employers and make them more interesting,” experts say. For Free-lance.ru, the transaction will allow further development.

According to Oleg Savtsov, deputy general director of RBC-SOFT, the amount of the transaction could be about $ 100 thousand - $ 200 thousand. At Finame they estimate the purchase somewhat more precisely - at $ 120 thousand - $ 150 thousand.
For market participants, the deal between HH and Free-lance.ru did not come as a surprise. In the staffing house of SuperJob, CNews correspondent was informed that negotiations between the companies had been going on for a long time. "The resource was noticeable on the market, but this deal will not affect the overall balance of power," believe in SuperJob.
The HeadHunter portal was opened in 2000. In 2006, HH's turnover amounted to almost $ 6 million. The company's minority stake is owned by Digital Sky Technologies. The rest is privately owned. In addition to Russia, the portal works in Ukraine and Kazakhstan. In addition, earlier this year, HH entered the Israeli market by purchasing a 20% stake in All U Need.
