Microsoft crossed SPDY and WebSockets
Microsoft has published its proposal for the future of HTTP 2.0, which is currently being discussed in the IETF working group. Their draft is called HTTP Speed + Mobility .

SPDY co-author Mike Belshe spoke positively about colleagues from Microsoft, expressed hope for further cooperation and the emergence of an open source implementation of their protocol. However, he noted that the thesis "SPDY is not optimized for mobile devices" is not true. Belshe himself is now working at Twist, which is developing mobile applications with optimization for SPDY.
