Badoo Technologies - open meeting within RIT ++ (admission free)
Dear Habra users, on April 2nd, 2012 in Moscow in the Digital October conference center (Bersenevskaya Embankment, 6) at 18:00 there will be a meeting with the employees of the Badoo Moscow office where we will answer questions from the audience (at least one and a half hours)
The event will be held as part of the Russian Internet Technologies conference, and especially for Badoo, the conference organizers made free admission , so everyone can come, participation in the conference is not required.
As part of this meeting, a session of questions and answers about the architecture and technologies of Badoo is planned.
as well as proprietary open-source projects that Badoo opens to the developer community.
The program includes a speech by the head of the development, Evgeny Sokolov, answers to technical and environmental technical questions by company employees, and a closing speech by the director of technology, Alexei Rybak. Also within the framework of RIT ++ we will make two reports. The first is dedicated to release management at Badoo, we will tell you what kind of deployment scheme we came up with, how it was implemented, how the state of the code was tied to the tracking system (jira), how it was changed and honed under the deployment version control system (git). The report will also include a small technical insight into the technologies and utilities that we used before and developed for the new deployment scheme. The second report is devoted to common database application errors. This will be a visionary report, in which we will scold and praise classical relational DBMS, NoSQL and other data management systems, and also tell you what is best to use in which cases.
