Huawei announced Beyond LTE technology

The other day, the opportunity to distinguish itself was presented to Huawei. This company has announced a technology whose name can be translated as “More than LTE”.

And in fact, the data transfer rate in a wireless network built over Beyond LTE reaches 30 Gbps. This is about 20 times higher than in current LTE networks. Such a significant increase in the speed of data transmission was made possible by new equipment, an updated antenna design, new algorithms for processing the transmitted data. As a result, not only the data transfer rate increases, but also the efficiency of using networks of this type.

The company is currently working with LTE as one of its priorities. Over the past couple of years, Huawei has been able to certify 265 of its own development for LTE and LTE-Advanced. This is approximately 20% of the total number of developments. All this makes the Chinese company one of the leaders in the field of 4G.

According to the president of the Huawei wireless technology department, Beyond LTE was developed based on the current level of development of mobile communications networks. Actually, this is understandable - if there were no demand, no one would develop anything. So far it is unclear, however, when a new technology can find commercial application. Although, with the current rate of introduction of new technologies, there is no doubt that this moment will come soon.
