Conference Russian Internet Technologies 2012 Greetings to all Habrazhiteley!

UPDATE: Time specified ! We will be the first to present on the first day ! I am very happy and looking forward to our meeting! I really hope to see and get acquainted with many Russian developers!

Last week something nice happened for our team. The organizers of the conference " Russian Internet Technologies 2012 " sent us an official invitation to speak at the conference with a report on the CUBRID DBMS. The main request of the organizers to us was to reveal the following questions for the Russian developer community.

On RIT ++ 2012, which will be held on April 2nd and 3rd, there will be several tracks:

We will present in the database track. The topic of our report will be: Growing in the Wild. The story by CUBRID Database Developers (I have already uploaded a preliminary report on SlideShare; you can read). The presentation will be held in English, if necessary, I will explain and respond to the audience in Russian. Two speakers will report: Esen Sagynov, project manager at CUBRID, and Eugene Stoyanovich, lead kernel developer at CUBRID.

Thus, we will tell:

  1. About the reasons for developing a CUBRID DBMS.
  2. What can offer CUBRID. Benefits and benefits.
  3. What we understood during the development of CUBRID, and where we are going.

We were very pleased to know that a small audience has already been created, which wants to be present at our report, including leading Russian developers, such as Konstantin Osipov, the head of the developer unit at Mail.Ru Group and a specialist in database management systems. What is very interesting, Konstantin Osipov is developing a high-performance data warehouse Tarantool / Box. And we love to talk with engineers who are involved in Big Data. I am sure that there will be a lot, about which we will be able to talk pleasantly at the conference. We were also informed that Andrey Aksyonov, the creator of SphinxSearch, will be present. We have already met with him several times at conferences MySQL and OSCON. It will be nice to see him.

In general, we are very pleased that we have the opportunity to tell Russian developers about the goals of our project and why we are making such a large investment in the development of a Web-optimized DBMS.

If you are traveling to RIT ++ 2012, we will be happy to see you on our report. If you have any questions, write in the comments below.

See you soon!

PS For those traveling, I created the Habra Event .
