The Vedomosti newspaper in today's
No. 48 (3062) reports that the Antares group of companies (owned by Yevgeny Roytman) launched its own
LTE network in test mode in Moscow
- and the Vedomosti correspondent was personally convinced that the access speed Internet access on this network exceeds eighty megabytes.
The network operates in the range of
1900-1920 MHz, which, according to the newspaper, is a novelty in Europe, although in the Chinese network "China Mobile" is quite common.
Antares promises to start commercial operation of the
LTE network before the end of this year (2012).
