
Every year,
the Lingvo Cup is becoming more and more popular and, judging by the activity of the participants at the registration stage, the competition will again confirm the status of the largest online translation championship for children from secondary and higher education institutions. Last year, 5,700 participants from 36 countries fought for the Lingvo Cup, including Russia, the CIS countries and Europe, as well as Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Iran, Canada, China, Nigeria, the USA and South Korea. Only in our country, the championship has covered more than 300 cities! The site will be able to track the guys from which cities and universities will be the most active participants in the Lingvo Cup this time.
Schoolchildren over the age of 16, students of all forms of education, as well as graduate students who have received a diploma not earlier than 2010 from Russia and other countries can take part in the competition.
For connoisseurs of English, German, French and Spanish, the Lingvo Cup 2012 promises interesting competitive tasks from professional translators, useful gifts and, of course, the main prize that will go to the best.
Competitions will be held in 2 stages: April 11-12 and May 16, 2012. In the first round the finalists of the Cup will be determined, the second stage will reveal the winner and 29 winners.
We will give the winner an honorary Cup and the main prize - a
two-week trip to the country of the language being studied - Great Britain, France, Germany or Spain! The award will be held in June this year in Moscow.
