School Internet providers will choose to contest
In the first two years, the Internet traffic of schools will be paid from the federal budget, then from regional ones. This was announced by the Minister of Information Technology and Communications Leonid Reiman.
According to him, among regional telecom operators, tenders will be announced for the provision of Internet service providers, and funds to pay for traffic will be included in regional budgets.
According to Reiman, initially the traffic is supposed to be unlimited, since quite large funds are allocated for this purpose from the federal budget. Perhaps after a while this order will be changed.

As is known, within the framework of the implementation of the national project “Education”, all schools of the Russian Federation were to be connected to the Internet by September 1 of the current year.
