Mail.Ru Group organizes a series of events - informal meetings with students of Moscow universities, on the topic of trends in the Russian and foreign Internet.
We invite students and all interested to participate in our events. The next meeting will be held on March 20 at 18:00 at the HSE Concert Hall at Vorontsovo Field, Moscow, 5a.
Dmitry Grishin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mail.Ru Group will talk about how to make a career as a top manager, how to build a business on the Internet, about the numbers and trends of the Russian and global Internet, about the development of social networks and mobile communications.

Biography:
Dmitry Grishin is one of the most successful young Russian businessmen . For ten years, he achieved dizzying results in the IT industry - starting from a developer’s position, in March 2012 he became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mail.Ru Group.
Dmitry was born in 1978 in the town of Kapustin Yar, Astrakhan Region. In 2001 he graduated with honors from Moscow State Technical University. Bauman. Simultaneously with study, from 1998 to 2001. Dmitry Grishin worked in an American IT company. In 2000, he joined netBridge Services (later Mail.Ru) as head of the project development department at Molotok.ru.
In the spring of 2001, he was appointed head of the service center, and in December became technical director of the Mail.Ru portal, formed as a result of the merger of netBridge Services with the Internet company Port.ru. After another six months - in June 2002 - he moved to the position of executive director, and from April 2003 he took the position of general director.

In 2010, he headed Mail.Ru Group, which, in addition to the Mail.Ru portal, also included Odnoklassniki social network, ICQ messenger and HeadHunter group of companies. Under Dmitry’s management, in just a few years the company has become one of the largest players in the online communications market in Europe.
Dmitry Grishin pays great attention to raising the level of Russian education. In particular, he heads the department for the preparation of IT specialists at the faculty of Information Technology and Programming at St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies in Mechanics and Optics. He is the founder and ideologist of the Russian Code Cup, the largest Olympiad for programmers in Eastern Europe.
