The company BiTMICRO announced the release of a new SSD-drive, the volume of which, apparently, sets another record among the drives based on flash memory. BiTMICRO engineers managed to squeeze 416 GB into a 2.5-inch wide case. This is indeed the highest rate among mobile SSDs.
The model called E-Disk Altima ATA-133 is available in several modifications, differing from each other in different disk space: the youngest model, in particular, carries only 4 gigabytes.
New items will go on retail in March next year at still unknown prices. However, it is obvious that the cost of the 416-gigabyte version of the SSD-drive can match the cost of a good laptop. ')
