Petition: Return the RSS icon to the default Firefox installation

Firefox RSS feed

Wandering through the expanses of a large network from time to time there are amazingly interesting places for which it would be useful to watch. One of the most convenient ways to do this is, of course, RSS, but, unfortunately, on most sites I get to, RSS feeds are for some reason not found. I thought so no.

Big fail

It turns out that Mozilla investigated the frequency of using interface elements ( heatmap.mozillalabs.com ) and found that out of 100,000 users, only 3 percent use the RSS button in the address bar. And instead of making RSS technology more popular, they simply took and got rid of the icon.

What will happen if we research the software market and find out that only 0.1 percent of users use development tools? Probably decide that development tools are unpopular and you don’t need to create them.
