Spring update
Surely, many have already noticed changes in the main menu of the site: the “Blogs” item disappeared from it, and a new one appeared - “Hubs”. C today the concept of "Thematic Blog" on Habré is abolished, now we should say " Hub ".
By and large, these are all the same blogs, but now, in addition to posts, they can also post questions. Compared to old blogs, new hubs will be more saturated with information nodes and will allow you to more effectively interact with the site. In the future, the hubs will aggregate not only posts and questions, but also events from the Habré section of the same name and offers to work with hantim.ru .
Another new item in the menu is Ribbon (available to registered users). With the introduction of hubs, we finally move on to personalization and abandon the setting of the tape “Read all”. The user himself forms his tape and reads only what he likes, without spilling out the negative on the users, the topics of which posts are not very interesting to him.
We managed to test both of these innovations on our other project - Avtokadabra .

To improve the readability and coverage of posts, we reorganized the publication mechanism. Now, any post and question can be published immediately in several thematic hubs, but not more than three pieces at a time. In this case, you can publish to the hubs without a subscription to them.
Please note that if you publish a post in the hub “I am promoting” or “I am indignant,” you should not publish it somewhere else - such a post will still be considered “offtopic” and will be excluded from the rating.
We reworked the sections, “smashed” some large subjects, added new ones and merged duplicated hubs. This allowed us to more clearly define the thematic focus of Habr and bring order to the issues. Previously, they were in one big heap, and we had to work hard to automatically "smash" all the questions ever created on the shelves. We express appreciation to the users of CrazySquirrel , elliadan , inlanger , kafeman , lacki , Noregr , OpenMinded , pel , Shirixae , Sterhel , unreturned , viperet and xy4 : the order in matters is entirely their merit.
By the way, if some of your questions are not processed, we will be grateful for their manual transfer to suitable hubs.
