Instagram for Android "will be something even better than for iOS"

At the SXSW conference yesterday, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom confirmed the December announcement of the Instagram app for Android and added that it will be released very soon. The Instagram Instagram for Android is currently undergoing closed testing. Kevin Systrom shared his impressions of working with the Android version of the program and said that "it is even better in some ways than the iOS version, it’s unbelievable."

Kevin also added that the number of registered Instagram users has exceeded 27 million, so the earlier estimate of Instagram as the world's largest social network on a mobile platform is really fair.

The free Instagram program was recognized as the best mobile app of 2011 for the iPhone , ranked first in the list of photo programs, and, of course, is one of the most anticipated Android apps.
