Centos 5.8 released

Surprisingly quickly after the release of rhel 5.8, the minor update of Centos 5.8 was released, the new system for building and testing releases of Centos showed itself well. Version 6.2 is even faster than Scientific Linux.

From the added software it is important to consider only the addition of the iotop utility.

Of the important bugs: problems with vlans on BCM5721 networkers, you can’t install dbus for x64 and i386 at the same time, smartmontools does not work well with some LSI controllers, kvm virtual machines crash with a new kernel (I don’t even know how they missed the release).
