Cebit 2012. Day three - Thermaltake, OCZ, AsRock, G.Skill

A new part of the adventure in Hanover. Today, the focus: Thermaltake, AsRock, OCZ and overclocking activities from vendors.

Thermaltake went the beaten track and put a huge amount of products in white. On the stand were seen powerful power supplies with Platinum certificates.

White versions of Comander MS-I and Level 10 GTS cases. The latter is worth telling more - the body inherited the design features of its older brothers - Level 10 and Level 10 GT, but its cost has become more than democratic, which, according to the manufacturer, will successfully sell the Level 10 GTS. Key features like hot-swap baskets and headphone holders are fully present and it remains only to guess why the case has become so much cheaper.

For hardcore gamers and design connoisseurs from BMW, a gaming mouse called Level 10M was introduced. The estimated cost of such a miracle unit is 200 US dollars. I can’t say 100% that it’s cheap, but it’s worth remembering that the more expensive a mouse is, the steeper the gamer =). Joke. There were many color options, the photo shows three of them.

But such stands were equipped to demonstrate the capabilities of gaming accessories.

I want to immediately ask for forgiveness for the company AsRock, because they managed to put the most popular products in the top row, behind the glass and make just a terrible glare.

Fatal1ty motherboards were presented for both AMD processors and the latest 22nm Intel Ivy Bridge. Motherboard on the Intel Z77 has become very popular and caused genuine delight among many visitors.

Versions are simpler for less well-off buyers, but the equipment and color scheme claims to be the top product.
OCZ fully focused on the SSD market and introduced several new models for the home and corporate sectors.
Octane and Petrol discs for laptop and desktop systems are not made on the now popular SandForce controller, but on Indilynx

For the high-performance segment, the RevoDrive Hybrid hybrid disc was introduced, consisting of a combination of SSD and classic HDD on a single board with a PCI-Express interface. The claimed reading speed can reach 910 MB / s, which is a very good indicator.

Well, in the end I will tell you about how AsRock and G.Skill attracted the attention of visitors.
At the stand of the company AsRock, an overclocking show was held with the participation of world leaders from Taiwanese Nick Shin and Russian Smoke.

The guys dispersed the latest Socket 2011 platform - namely, the Intel Core i7 3930K processor on the AsRock Fatal1ty X79 motherboard and the AMD Radeon HD 7970 video card. Judging by the number of viewers, it’s time to exclaim - “Alive! Alive, smoking room!
G.Skill invited the Italian Hiwa, known for its high overclocking results, and demonstrated the fastest memory retailer that can operate at a frequency of 2666 MHz, as they say out-of-box.

This is the last post from Hannover, tomorrow morning I will return to St. Petersburg and will prepare a big report.
Stay tuned
