Capgemini have joined forces to provide Google Apps Premier Edition, a search engine-owned office suite, to large corporations.
A Capgemini statement said that
Google Apps offers “powerful collaboration and communication applications” for $ 50 per year, and that, by agreement, Capgemini
will provide maintenance and support services for Google Apps, as well as customize the desktop for each individual user.
And although Google and Capgemini say that they are not going to remove Microsoft from the first position in the office software market, but with the help of a number of upcoming actions, they will constitute a competition for the software giant.

Recall that the Premier Edition software, delivered by the “
software as a service ” model via the Internet using a web browser, includes Google Docs & Spreadsheets text and table editor, Gmail, and Google Calendar.
