Cebit 2012. Day Two - Blackberry, Archos, MSI, Gigabyte
The tour of Cebit 2012 continues.
This is a new one from Archos - a home DECT phone on Android, honestly, at least someone could imagine such a thing a couple of years ago?
Under the cut photos of products MSI, Gigabyte, XFX, Blackberry.
XFX company showed a new series of video cards based on AMD Radeon graphics processors.
These are two versions of the Radeon HD 7770 with different cooling systems.
And this is “what nothing in this world can ever be.” The Radeon HD 7870 graphics card has not yet been announced, but it is nonetheless present on the stands of many vendors. Performance data is really missing.
Another tablet from the company Archos is amazing to see such a set of hard disk capacities - 8, 16 and 250 gigabytes at once. The prices of the devices are shown on the rating plate.
At the Blackberry stand, my attention was drawn to a phone with a design from Porsche. Of course, its value increases by several tens of euros.
And this toy is called the Blackberry PlayBook. Of course, this is a tablet, but its popularity may come close to the Apple iPad, after all, the communicators of this brand compete with the apple ones.
MSI hid from the eyes of the general public in the Reseller Planet, a hall for distributors and journalists, but the product range was fully presented.
Here and motherboards on the new Intel Z77 chipset
Again, we see the AMD Radeon HD 7870 graphics card, this time in the original version and with a new cooling system.
Also presented to the public graphics card AMD Radeon HD 7770 Power Edition with an improved cooling system and additional options for overclocking.
The nettop sector has become a tasty morsel and MSI has not passed it. The AMD-based hybrid processor system is called the Wind Box.
Gigabyte is expanding the range of motherboards in the server segment - dual-processor and single-processor systems were presented at the company's booth.
New series of game boards: G.1 Assasin 2 for Sandy Bridge-E Socket 2011 processors and G.1 Sniper 3 for Ivy Bridge Socket 1155 processors.
An ultrabook was also put up on a new generation of Intel processors, but it was quickly removed, although some colleagues even managed to get rid of several tests. According to their reviews, the performance gain in the mobile segment is expected to be very tangible.
