The research division of Microsoft Research released a curious software called Cliplets for creating photos, individual objects on which can move - such photos on the Internet are called cinegraphs (cinemagraphs). In general, the idea is similar to the old GIF-animation, except for the fact that the photo is much more interesting and detailed. In this case, Cliplets offers to select an object on some video, consecutive frames of which are analyzed, in order to get a finished “blue sky”.
The same functionality is present in the Cinemagram iOS application, although in this case Cliplets works, of course, on Windows and are free.
