Google will combine movies, music, applications and books into one service

The search giant will launch the new Google Play service, which will be an online entertainment store that allows you to buy content previously offered on a number of third-party services, such as Android Market, Google Music and Google Books, in one place.

Basically, all the innovations relate to the possibility of content consumption using Google cloud technologies. For example, users of Google Play Movies will be able to watch HD video online or download it for local viewing; music lovers will be able to listen and share with friends 20,000 tracks on Google Play Music using their Android smartphones, which will receive an update for the Android Market. The old application store will change its name, however, maintaining the well-established interface is almost intact. The sociality of the service is expected to be provided by Google+.

The localization of the store was not fully carried out - the choice of the Russian language leads to the standard 404th error, although some help sections have already been translated. All purchases in the store will be made using Google Wallet.
