Hello to habrazhiteli from Hannover!

Cebit 2012 exhibition has begun! In my first post, I’ll tell you about updates from Zotac, Enermax and Asus.
The company Zotac is widely known in the market of video cards, but more recently they have seriously taken up the super small form factor. The full line of minicomputers from Zotac includes all possible processor variants - here you can find VIA, AMD, and Intel.

The devices are equipped with a remote control and have very compact dimensions.

The latest development is an ultra-compact case with full functionality. Strict NDA prohibits the publication of technical specifications, which suggests that inside Ivy Bridge. RedBull jar gives an insight into the dimensions of the novelty.

And this photo convinces that the number of devices is more than one.

Enermax introduced the superconcept of the 2500 Watt power supply! Colossal power has enormous size. According to company representatives, such units are in demand for powering screens at stadiums, huge video walls at the same time require a dozen of such monsters.

In addition, Enermax demonstrates a DreamBass device - a bass booster with a USB interface, nothing original, but there is a sense in such a device for entry-level laptops or gaming computers. Those who have a discrete sound card - DreamBass is not an assistant.

The new brand LEPA is not yet common in Russia, but its prospects are not bad. In fact, it is Enermax, only slightly cheaper, and the look of such a fan will fascinate buyers.

Asus did not set up a separate booth, but kindly invited to a press conference where it demonstrated a new line of motherboards on Intel seventh series chipsets. Unfortunately, I cannot pamper you with performance information, the non-disclosure agreement is in effect ... There was also an overclocking show at the press conference, which was conducted by Andre Yang, an overclocking legend and part-time engineer of the Republic Of Gamers division.

Well, here I will share the sensations of working with an ultrabook - weight really means a lot. I visited previous exhibitions with Acer Ferrari - although it is 12 ", but much heavier. I like absolutely everything - a quick start, a comfortable keyboard, a compact charge. Although I did find one minus, the Airbus A321 does not fit on a sliding table.
As they say, stay tuned. Tomorrow a new batch of interesting pieces of iron!
