Functional and economic comparison of Russian cloud service providers
Due to the rapid development of the cloud services market in Russia, I decided to study the main players in this market, to understand what they really are, and also to find out the price range of the services provided.
For those who are interested in how I did it all explain.
All information was collected for more than two months. A specific resource configuration and a series of questions were selected.
This request was sent to cloud operators, following the results of the correspondence, made a table for comparison.

Also, each of the submitted candidates were asked questions in order to understand the technical implementation.
These questions are:
1) Used hypervisors.
2) What servers are used? The name of the manufacturer and server series.
3) What processors are used? The name of the manufacturer and the series.
4) General (standard) configuration of a single server cell.
5) Interface to the storage system.
6) What storage system is used? Manufacturer, model. How many controllers?
7) What raid is used?
8) Are the network paths duplicated from the hypervisor to the switch? Do switches stackable?
9) What is the tier level of the data center?
10) Ability to place on 2 sites? Possibility of accommodation abroad? Geocluster
11) Possibility of forwarding a USB key inside the car?
12) Possibility of ready VPN? Term and model of the device? What category of personal data is it certified for?
13) Possibility of hourly billing? (Does the price change from this?). The possibility of postpay?
14) Is there a built-in backup functionality? Prices for it?
15) What kind of SLA do you provide?
16) In the event that one server fails, is there an automatic restart on another server?
17) What is the guarantee of resources?
18) Channel bandwidth? Access unlimited?
At the first stage, two candidates disappeared at once: ISPserver and Selectel
ISPserver apologized and replied that their cloud hosting on the interface and functionality is similar to the usual Shared-hosting, without the support of Windows, and therefore can not offer a solution for this problem.
Selectel answered, firstly, they can place servers on Linux OS, and secondly, they have reached the limit of scalability of the existing infrastructure. To solve this problem, two servers were offered for rent, but this is no longer interesting, since Cloud solutions are of interest.
To make it even more interesting, I carried out a small analysis of the response time to my request and the time of issuing the control, the data was tabulated. I also wanted to note that I spoke with many companies personally by phone.

Let's sum up.
In general, all companies (with the exception of IT-lite) offered me a technical implementation in accordance with my requirements. However, according to the description, it can be seen that for some companies (for example, the Infobox) this may take a long time, since at the moment they have no ready-made solutions.
It was pleasantly surprised that there are companies that offer two types of virtualization to choose from.
After analyzing the data, I decided to highlight the top three of my comparison:

All three companies have shown themselves to be very worthy. For each item, I put down the pros and cons in my opinion.
I note that this is my subjective opinion. I would like to hope that so rapidly the development of the cloud services market in Russia will only continue.
