Instagram has grown to 25 million users: the largest social network on a mobile platform

Over the past two months, the social network based on Instagram photos has added more than 10 million users , and now with an audience of over 25 million people is the world's largest “purely mobile” social network, not counting the Chinese. For comparison, the former leader of Foursquare now has 22 million users.

The figures for the Instagram audience are not officially disclosed, but they are easy to see by the profile number, if checked through the web interfaces Statigram and Ink361 , which use the Instagram API.
