Excursion to the Moscow data center Rostelecom

As we have already written, there will be 7 data centers operating in the Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, the Novosibirsk Region and the Khabarovsk Territory that will ensure the functioning of the video surveillance system for the elections.
The other day I went on an excursion in the Moscow data processing center (DPC). Under the cut brief information and photo report.



In the photos below - racks with server and network equipment. There are more than 40 such racks in the Moscow data center. In total, more than 260 servers work there. The volume of data storage system 1.2 Petabyte.

The building is connected to 3 independent lines from different substations, and the local uninterruptible power supply system includes two independent diesel generators and a room with a UPS:
