Skitch update for Android: maps and save to memory card
We are pleased to present an updated version of Skitch for Android, in which the opportunity appeared to make notes on geographical maps, save your sketches on the SD card, as well as a number of other innovations.
Skitch is well suited to clarify the discussion: for example, point to the right person in a group photo or circle a sofa you like on an interior photo you’ve found. A new feature will allow you to place a pin with an address on the map, and then draw over it arrows, figures or lines to indicate exactly what place you have in mind.
This is done as follows. Click the map icon on the home screen. A map will appear, which you can stretch, move, scale or find an object. If you click on any part of the map, a pin will be placed there. After that, click on the Skitch icon to add your own map marks. When you're done, save the result or send it to another user.

It was one of the most frequently requested features. Now everything you have in Skitch can be saved to a memory card. To do this, simply click on the Save icon. The same icon will give you access to a list of previously saved images.
We also simplified adding and moving text. When you start typing it, the text appears right on top of the corresponding section of the image where you want it to be placed. If necessary, you can tap and drag the text to move it to another location, and also stretch it with your fingers to increase the size. All this can now be done without using the “Finger” tool.
In addition to new features, we also fixed a number of bugs and improved the stability of the application.
