On the Internet, there were long rumors about another unusual device from Asus , later they were confirmed. And here at the MWC 2012 the mysterious Asus PadFone fell into our hands. The device combines the functionality of three form factors at once: a smartphone, a tablet and a netbook.
The main link of Asus PadFone is an Android smartphone with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED screen with qHD resolution (960x540) . Inside is a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5GHz. ')
On the front of the phone there are no buttons, the device works on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich . This version of the system is universal, both for smartphones and tablets. The main feature of the device is that it can be inserted into a special docking station (screen with battery), and you get a full-fledged Android tablet.
Then the tablet can be connected to another docking station (keyboard with battery), similar to the one used by Asus Transformer . The result is a semblance of a netbook .
A special accessory is also provided for telephone conversations: a stylus with an integrated Bluetooth headset . In order not to lose it, the manufacturers have built in some kind of anti-theft system. If you forget the stylus on the table, then at a distance of 5 meters your PadFone vibrates.
