WikiLeaks begins publishing letters "shadow CIA"

On December 25, 2011, the Stratfor database was already hacked by the Anonymous group. Soon, some of the data was made publicly available.

New messages from WikiLeaks, relating to the period from July 2009 to December 2011, contain information about Stratfor informants, the payment system and the psychological methods of its work. The letters also show how the intelligence company takes in the development of people in the interests of private clients.

Published documents will also highlight the links between Stratfor, the Dow Chemical Company , Lockheed Martin, and government agencies.

The materials also say that Stratfor CEO George Friedman planned in 2009, together with the executive director of Goldman Sachs, Shea Morens, to use the information of the “shadow CIA” for commercial interests. To this end, Morens invested more than $ 4 million in Stratfor and joined the company's board of directors.

One of the letters says that Israeli special forces, with the support of Kurdish separatists, have already carried out an operation to destroy several laboratories serving the Iranian nuclear program. An open attack on Iran, if it happens, will last 48 hours and should end in the fall of the regime. By the way, according to Stratfor analysts, Russia and Saudi Arabia will benefit most from the war in Iran, as they will receive a huge “profit” from the rise in gasoline prices and the temporary dislodging of Iran from the oil production process.

Part of the letters concerns the attempts of the US government to attack WikiLeaks itself and the persecution of its founder Julian Asanj.

Upd: As elky suggested , the interesting details of Stratfor’s work turn out:

Russian Reporter magazine has published material on WikiLeaks files relating to the activities of the American private intelligence company Stratfor. As stated in this publication, among the informants Stratfor was Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika.

The publication’s website contains scattered fragments of emails exchanged between employees and informants of the company, and the codes for these documents are listed in the WikiLeaks database. The WikiLeaks website launched Stratfor files on February 27.

According to the observations of the magazine "Russian Reporter", in the correspondence of the company's employees, Chaika was listed under the code RU101. The publicity of the Prosecutor General Stratfor was evaluated by the number “1”, meaning that he was considered an informant with the highest level of trust. Thus, Chaika was one of the “key sources for Russia” for the American intelligence company, the Russian partner WikiLeaks concludes.

“It’s impossible to name these publications as a bullshit and outright provocation,” said Marina Gridneva, spokeswoman for the agency, in an interview with Interfax.

“What are the unauthorized contacts of the Prosecutor General - one of the nine federal state employees who are under round-the-clock protection in accordance with the law“ On Protection, ”we can say,” she asked.

Gridneva did not rule out that behind such publications there could be forces in respect of which the Prosecutor General’s Office takes a tough stance. “It’s no secret that Yuri Chaika has openly stated his views on a number of non-governmental organizations funded from abroad. These forces are in every way interested in swaying the political situation in the country and are hardly satisfied with the measures taken by the prosecutor's office to maintain law and order and legality in the country, ”the official said.

The head of Stratfor stated that the materials published by WikiLeaks can be fakes and a distorted interpretation, but Stratfor will not provide specific explanations for each of these cases.

“Some passages from published e-mails may be fake or distorted due to inaccuracies. Some may be real, ”- said in a video message sent to RIA Novosti by the founder and CEO of Stratfor.
