This weekend was the 7th Startup Weekend in Moscow. It began with Arkady Moreynis’s lecture “Do not die, please,” about economical launches and the creation of an MCI. Arkady's presentation can be viewed here , and thanks for the video, thanks to Firmbook:
The basic idea is that before rushing for long months or years to develop some big thing that now seems interesting to you, you need to test the hypotheses on which your whole project rests on small and quickly implemented experiments.

The participants were able to test this new technique of testing the idea and model of viability for the next two days. After talking with experts, some teams went home and returned to the final presentations with the first results of experiments conducted on real users. These results finally allowed to stop the endless disputes, the idea of a service is reasonable or unreasonable, and just look at the real numbers and go on to a specific discussion of the models.
As a result, after all the checks, only 30 projects survived out of 91, which were able to calculate how and with what simple actions their model is verified. Immediately after the speeches, Glavstart offered investments to 4 teams so that they could continue working on their project immediately after Startup Weekend.
And this weekend, another Startup Weekend will take place at the Digital October center, dedicated to gathering teams and searching for co-founders, join !
