NFC tags from metro maps

A few days ago, Sony released the Xperia ™ SmartTags application , the principle of which colorfully displayed in the following video clip:

In other words, by hanging out the so-called SmartTags in different places, we associate certain actions on the phone with them. The idea is not to say that new, but beautiful. And what about those who do not have a phone from Sony, and SmartTags still have not appeared on sale? Go to the subway!

The Moscow metro card is essentially the same SmartTag. Each card has a unique ID, the size is small, than not a replacement tag from Sony?

When we have several such Metro tickets on hand, we go through the android market and install a simple NFC utility ReTAG FREE . She can scan and put nfc tags into her own database, as well as define actions on them (there is support for Tasker tasks).

Step-by-step instruction:
1. Take a ticket to the Moscow metro;
2. Run the NFC ReTAG FREE;
3. We bring the ticket to the phone;
4. NFC ReTAG FREE will identify the new tag and prompt you to add it to the database;
5. Add;
6. Determine what actions need to be performed when re-defining a tag previously stored in the database;
7. Everything.

PS There is one "but." To determine the tag, the phone must be turned on and unlocked.
PPS Of course, your phone must have NFC support. Of the popular models, I can remember the Samsung Nexus S (as it turned out, the utility is not installed from the market, cursing for incompatibility with this phone, but this is not so ... I post a separate apk ).
PPPS A good way to make a metro ticket even thinner is described here (wash the paper wrapper with water).
PPPPS If someone is interested, information about the number of trips (total and used), as well as the time of action can also be taken from the metro ticket. This is done using the Ticket Information utility or NFC TagInfo by NXP .
