The court sided with Apple in the issue of rights to "slide-to-unlock"

Patent disputes between the giants of the mobile industry continue, and it is unlikely that all this will be able to end soon. Most often, in such disputes, the name of the company Apple emerges - it seems that it is suing everyone you can. Recently, this corporation has lost several lawsuits (including a dispute with Samsung).

But now the company still managed to win another dispute, started over the technology of unlocking the slide-to-unlock display. The dispute was between Apple and Motorola. True, this decision is relevant only for Germany, since the trial itself was conducted in this country.

However, Motorola has lost, which does not often happen with this company. Naturally, Motorola representatives have already stated that this court decision will not have any significance for the business of this company. Nevertheless, according to some analysts, a Cupertino company may extend its victory - the court may take the side of this company in other countries. And then the usual function of unlocking the display in the Android OS can be changed to unrecognizability.

However, this is still very far away. Moreover, Google recently received a patent for its own slide-to-unlock technology, which differs from the one used in Apple's smartphones. Well, since Google will soon become the full owner of Motorola Mobility, then this technology can be used. So it is still very uncertain - luck, or rather, the opinion of the court, can lead to victory for both Apple and Motorola, or rather, Google.
