W3C office opened in Russia

The long-awaited event finally happened!
An office of the W3C Consortium has opened in Russia.
The office is opened jointly by the W3C and the Higher School of Economics and will operate on the basis of the university. Not less joyful news is that the well-known popularizer of the open state data initiative and creator of opengovdata.ru Ivan Begtin (ibegtin habrauzer ) became the head of Linked Data in the Russian W3C division.
The director of the office was Viktor Klintsov.

Taking this opportunity, I will say that Ivan recently gave a technical report at the conference Engineering Knowledge and Technology of the Semantic Web , in which he described the current state of the open state. data and government plans for the development of this area.
