Sharp Touch and Fingerprint Touch Screens

Sharp has announced that it has already developed and will soon be on the market touchscreen glass for LCD screens used in computers and mobile devices, which will be half the size of existing ones. The new technology will use optical sensors built under each pixel of the screen. This will eliminate the use of film on the screen and thereby improve its resolution.

Until now, touch screens had a “weak” resolution, but the new technology can correct this situation. Sharp also said that it learned to recognize several points at the same time, although this technology cannot be called new. The main “chip” of new screens can be called image scanning.

Such screens can, for example, scan a business card attached to a mobile phone screen. Also, these displays may be able to scan fingerprints - Sharp is already considering combining these two technologies.
