Released the world's first blanks for the blind

The Japanese company Mitsubishi has released the world's first (apparently) 700-megabyte CD-R, intended for blind or visually impaired people.

In this case, caring for such people is expressed by the presence of braille codes on each disc. The points applied with a special paint practically do not increase the thickness of the disk, however, they remain sufficiently convex so that they can be “read” by the fingers.

In general, the idea is at least not devoid of meaning. The main thing is that these very inscriptions were really useful for users, and not duplicate the stupid “700 MB DATA”.
