The first photos of devices of the new HP iPAQ line

Good news for those who are interested in the fate of the popular iPAQ line produced by the well-known HP: more or less high-quality photos of several new representatives of the series finally appeared on the Web.

So let's start from right to left. The flagship of the updated line will be the model HP iPAQ 914.

This device will be equipped with a 2.46-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, a three-megapixel camera, a GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, a built-in Google Maps application and support for HSDPA networks. The appearance of new items is expected in November at a price of about $ 800.

The next oldest model is the HP iPAQ 614 smartphone.

Despite the fact that the device is equipped with a standard numeric keypad, the developers made the touchscreen touchscreen. Like the flagship, this model is equipped with a GPS-receiver, Wi-Fi-module, Google Maps program and support for HSDPA networks. The cost of the smartphone will be the same $ 800, which is somewhat strange.

Model HP iPaq 314, in turn, is an independent navigation device.

By the way, this is the first such gadget in the HP range. The device is equipped with a display with a diagonal of 4.3 inches and a very good resolution - 800 x 480 pixels, can synchronize with Microsoft Outlook and mobile phones via Bluetooth. Included with the navigator will be delivered maps of Western Europe. About the price so far, alas, nothing is known.

Despite the rather vague prospects for the pocket PC market, the iPAQ line also included a handheld, whose name is HP iPAQ 214. Unfortunately, there are no photos of this device, so you have to be content with only scant technical characteristics: VGA display, a pair of wireless modules and IP telephony support. The case, by the way, is characterized by dimensions of 120 × 76.6 × 16 mm and weighs 187 grams. Too much, I must say. HP iPAQ 214 will be available in October for about $ 500.

Well, the last representative of the line - HP iPAQ 114 PDA.

This simplest and most inexpensive machine out of all presented above is characterized by a 3.5-inch QVGA display, 64 MB of RAM and a Bluetooth module. The model will cost 430 US dollars, and will be available in a month.
