MIT Launches First Fully Automated Online Course

Two months ago, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology announced a new technology platform for online education MITx. The test version of the MITx platform will work in the spring of 2012, training will be free, and the platform itself will be open.

On February 13, first-year information was published, which will be available through MITx.

Training from March 5 to June 8, 2012, requires approximately 10 hours a week.

Students from around the world who have the necessary knowledge of electricity, magnetism and differential calculus are admitted. Among the three teachers is Professor Gerald Sussman, who is also the creator of the Scheme language and the author of one of the best programming textbooks, Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs.
