We prefer to call ourselves an appstore or an app store for Windows. Well, in fact, it does not matter. The main thing that we are doing what is already on other platforms - the App Store for Mac OS, the Ubuntu Software Center itself is nowhere to be found. And also, of course, under all mobile platforms: iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7.
In general, we are able to install applications without any “further”, “further”.

The idea to launch this project appeared last winter. After looking at competitors such as Ninite or AllMyApps , and after analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, we decided to launch our line with cards and queens.
So meet Soofty. Now we have already published ≈60 popular programs, and as many are waiting for check in the queue for moderation.
Of course, not to compare with hundreds of thousands in other stor, but we go to success
For those who have not encountered any of the above, I will tell you a typical case of using Sufty.
- We download, install and run Sufti from http://soofty.com .
- Select the program from the catalog and click "More"
- We read the description, look at the screenshots and, if we consider that the program is interesting to us, click “Install”
- Soofty itself downloads and installs the selected program. The process can be seen from the "Downloads" section.
Convenient and fast, is not it?
In the near future, we will implement auto updates and a couple more buns that will make life on Windows more convenient.
Inside, nothing complicated:
- Backend to Django / Nginx / Mysql / MongoDB. Pony Powered!
- On the front end, we use jQuery, Backbone.js and Underscore.js.
- Due to the limited number of resources, the client was collected on Awesomium + .NET 4. This, of course, creates inconvenience, but for the first version it is quite acceptable. Plans to rewrite QT with Webkit.
