Smart and lazy. Matrix Manstein.

This short note about management and frames. Here is what the general of the German general staff, von Manstein, wrote:

There are only four types of officers. The old type are lazy and stupid officers. Leave them, they do no harm ... The second type is smart and hardworking officers. They make excellent staff officers, whose attention will not escape the slightest detail. The third type is hardworking stupid. These people are dangerous and must be shot on the spot. They burden everyone with completely unnecessary work. And finally, the last type is smart loafers. These people deserve the highest positions.
